Cohen made most of his money in real lands and runs a pawnbroker shop named State Jewelry & Loans, which he inherited from his father. He establish the citizens cluster Rod Must Resign in 2009 urging then Governor Rod Blagojevich to surrender. He campaigned in the 2010 primaries and promoted himself as a little business proprietor of Cohen`s Green Cleaning. Cohen spent more than $2 million on his campaign. He ended up alluring the Democratic Party`s nomination to be Lieutenant Governor of Illinois. Cohen withdrew below pressure relating to his personal life and background.
